Picking up where the fourth season left off, this box set includes all 22 episodes of season 5 including the extra-long finale, Honeymoon at Viagra Falls. And I have to say, the thing with Blue is that you can just jump right back into it. The cast are old friends, the Mike Post music is as energetically chaotic as you remember and the New York streets feel appropriately busy and full of life. Season 5 starts to atone for some of the sins of the previous season, although I'm still slightly peeved at how quickly they wrap up that stunning cliffhanger from season 4. In fact, its a bit of a blink-and-you'll-miss-it, which has always been Blue's problem: sometimes they set things up and then just end them as though they never really happened.
